Position Summary:
Apfel Law Group, a boutique immigration law firm based in Hanover, Massachusetts, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Immigration Attorney to join our growing team. This position is primarily in-office, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule for the right candidate.
We are looking for a dynamic attorney with a strong foundation in employment-based immigration law who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centered environment and is passionate about providing high-quality legal services. The Associate Attorney will manage an active caseload and must be comfortable handling multiple matters simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file a high volume of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions including H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, and other visa types.
- Handle PERM labor certification applications and immigrant visa petitions (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3).
- Conduct consultations and strategy sessions with corporate clients and foreign nationals.
- Draft support letters, legal memos, and responses to RFEs, NOIDs, and audits.
- Manage client communications, including providing updates, gathering documentation, and answering legal questions.
- Represent clients before USCIS and other government agencies.
- Collaborate closely with paralegals and the broader legal team to ensure efficient case management.
- Maintain organized and detailed case files through a legal case management system.
- Stay current on immigration law updates, regulations, and policy changes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership (any state).
- 1–3 years of experience in employment-based immigration law required.
- Experience preparing PERM labor certification applications preferred.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Professional, client-focused communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Starting at $75,000/year, commensurate with experience
