Role & Responsibilities:

This is a growing in-house team that is expanding its paralegal/case management team. Candidates for the position should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in progressive/broad based US business immigration practices.
Here’s just some of what you’ll do in this role:
- Independently manage and prepare US employment-based, NIV and IV visa filings to US Dept. of Labor, USCIS, DOS, and CBP
- Gather and review immigration eligibility documents and strategically design individual roadmaps that support colleagues from their initial hiring pursuant to nonimmigrant visa (H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-3, TN), to adjustments to permanent residence/green card via the EB-1, EB-2 or EB-3 preference category
- Develop detailed and customized support letters for H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-3, TN and other petitions/applications, including executive and managerial positions for filing with USCIS.
- Review Request for Evidence (“RFE”) requests issued for filed petitions and prepare persuasive responses/provide support up to petition adjudication
- Lead and partner with cross-functional stakeholders on projects to improve immigration function and client servicing
- Work collaboratively with team to develop and maintain best practices that adjust to immigration regulation changes, optimizing the Company’s immigration sponsorship program
- Interact with and advise senior leadership on complex immigration matters and provide top notch immigration strategic analysis
- Engage in active brainstorming sessions and help develop and implement strategic resolutions to business challenges within immigration scope
- Serve as a US immigration subject matter expert and provide holistic guidance and support to colleagues through their immigration journeys that align with their career growth
Minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years of progressive work experience preparing US nonimmigrant visa filings (including H-1Bs, L-1A/L-1Bs, E-3s, and TNs), as well as US immigrant filings, including EB-2 and EB-3 I-140s, Multi-national Manager and Adjustment of Status Applications
- Excellent legal writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to drive and timely deliver on the end-to-end case management cycle, from document review, drafting and filing immigration petitions, to performing administrative tasks, including ensuring accurate data in case management system and communicating with clients on strategy/case processing details
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and communicate effectively with clients and governmental agencies, serving as a primary point of contact with the ability to function independently and to exercise discretion and judgment in sensitive matters
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with H-1B CAP electronic registration process
- Experience with LawLogix case management system is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree
