Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join our team in Miami, FL. In this role, you will work on corporate immigration cases, collaborate with seasoned paralegals and other attorneys, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
You will also spend at least 20% of your time creating and reviewing legal content for our widely recognized website, serving as a valuable resource for immigrants worldwide. Any experience with client consultations and retaining clients is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have strong work ethics with demonstrated ability to work longer hours if/when necessary.
Key Emphasis:
This role places special emphasis on your proficiency in handling complex EB-1A, O-1, EB-1B, and EB-2 NIW visa petitions.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and filing of nonimmigrant & immigrant visa petitions, with a primary focus on EB-1A, O-1, and NIW petitions.
- The secondary focus of this role is on preparing and filing H-1B, L-1, EB-2, EB-3, E-2, J-1, and TN visa petitions.
- Conducting consultations with potential clients over Zoom/Google Meet.
- Cultivating relationships with existing clients, including follow-ups after approvals for case studies, success stories, reviews etc.
- Create and review legal content in both text and video form for our website and other online channels.
- Supervision and guidance of paralegals and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethics with demonstrated ability to work longer hours if/when necessary. Solid track record of successfully handling heavy caseload and meeting deadlines with precision.
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-time experience in business/corporate immigration.
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating intricate EB-1A, O-1, and NIW visa petitions, including adept responses to challenging RFEs.
- At least 2-3 years of experience with H-1B, L-1, EB-2, EB-3, E-2, J-1, and TN visa petitions.
- Deep understanding of the PERM labor certification process and nuances of employment-based green card cases
- Any experience with family immigration cases is desirable but not necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and publish impactful legal content online in both text and video form.
- Proficiency in immigration case management systems (preferably Docketwise or MyCase).
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, responsiveness and organization skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. Law School and admission to a U.S. State Bar.
