About the Opportunity:
Our firm is expanding, and we are seeking a driven and experienced Immigration Attorney to spearhead the development of our new Immigration Law Department. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated legal professional to play a pivotal role in shaping and leading a growing practice within an established, well-respected firm.

Position Summary:
The Immigration Attorney will handle a diverse caseload encompassing family-based petitions, employment-based visas, naturalization, deportation defense, and other immigration matters. In addition to case work, this role requires strategic vision and leadership to build a robust practice and mentor future team members as the department grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and advocate for a wide range of immigration cases from intake to resolution.
Develop and implement department procedures, best practices, and case management systems.
Provide legal guidance to clients and maintain high standards of client communication and service.
Represent clients before USCIS, immigration courts, and other government agencies.
Stay current with changing immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance and best outcomes.
Collaborate with firm leadership on growth strategy and business development for the immigration practice.
Mentor and train junior attorneys and support staff as the department expands.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience practicing immigration law.
Strong knowledge of family-based and employment-based immigration matters, deportation defense, and naturalization processes.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow a team and a practice area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
