About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Immigration Attorney to join our team, specializing in family-based immigration matters and removal defense. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and advocacy skills, experience representing clients in immigration court, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to individuals and families navigating the U.S. immigration system.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in removal defense proceedings, including master calendar hearings, individual hearings, bond hearings, and appeals before EOIR and BIA.
Handle family-based immigration petitions and applications, including Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, I-130s, I-601/601A waivers, VAWA, U visas, TPS, and related filings.
Prepare and file motions, briefs, appeals, and legal memoranda in support of client cases.
Conduct client consultations, case evaluations, and strategy sessions.
Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court and agency requirements.
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure effective case preparation and client communication.
Stay updated on changes in immigration law, regulations, and policies impacting clients.
Participate in community outreach, legal clinics, and educational workshops as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing with a state bar (preferably GA).
1–3+ years of immigration law experience (removal defense and family-based cases strongly preferred).
Strong oral advocacy and written legal skills, with the ability to litigate complex cases.
Fluency in Spanish required
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
Passion for immigrant rights and commitment to client-centered representation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
