Part-Time Local Immigration Law Clerk (Jupiter, FL)

Seeking a local part-time law clerk to assist with immigration matters.
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (with some flexibility).
Location: Jupiter, Florida — near Military Trail and University Boulevard.
This is an in-office position; candidates must be local to the Jupiter area. Remote work is not available.

Requirements:

Must have prior experience working in an immigration law office.
Must be able to perform required job tasks independently, with minimal supervision.
Must have good judgment and the ability to recognize priorities in furtherance of the office’s objectives, taking initiative when appropriate.
Experience preparing family-based adjustment of status applications with USCIS.
Familiarity with Immigration Court procedures , including drafting motions and preparing Notices of Filing.
Ability to complete assigned files and tasks through to final review for the attorney, including mailing or uploading into the system.

Other responsibilities include:

Working on NVC cases, asylum applications, motions, and other filings.
Organizing papers, file boxes, schedules, and calendars.
Scanning and maintaining case files.
Meeting deadlines and following through on case preparation to completion.
