The Agent is responsible for acting as a manager for their own team, which includes, junior agents and booking assistants. The purpose of the role is to simplify management duties for the department Director related to agenting. This role also works to streamline communication and help to create a collaborative working environment.

Duties:

Booking jobs/travel
Curating portfolios
Cultivating new clientele and overseeing all general inquiries for the artists.
Procuring suitable new artists is required of this position as well
As maintaining open communication between artists, clients and agency.
Mentor and manage Junior Agents and Coordinators on outreach, strategy and negotiation, as well as problem-solve within the office.
Diagnose and resolve problems within and among work groups. (According to top management directives) and when applicable, recommend changes.
Communicating new jobs for artist and establishing if appropriate for them to be working on.
Booking/overseeing travel for artists.
Pitching and developing relationships with new clients for artist.
Stay up to date with current events and pop culture (celebrities, fashion, movies, music, art, Photography, etc).
Networking with publicists, publicists, assistants, producers, photographers, etc. Attending events
Maintaining professional relationship with your artists.
