Sachs Law Group, LLC is looking for someone to join our team. Position requires someone who is dedicated and interested in working closely with the immigrant community and has excellent customer service and organizational skills. We are looking for someone who is also ready to take on increasingly complex work. While experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right person. Applicants will learn how to use our case management system for client’s documents. The applicant will help prepare petitions and applications to be filed with the government or courts under Attorney supervision. He or she may be called on to interpret for Spanish speaking clients and translate simple documents when necessary. The position requires 100% fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.

Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (e.g., family-based, employment-based, asylum, DACA, naturalization).
Conduct client intake interviews and maintain regular communication regarding case status.
Organize, review, and compile documents for USCIS, NVC, EOIR, and consular processing.
Maintain and update case files and client records in legal case management software.
Draft correspondence to clients, government agencies, and courts under attorney supervision.
Monitor case progress and follow up on deadlines, appointments, biometrics, and interviews.
Translate documents and interpret during client meetings.
Conduct research related to immigration laws, policies, and case requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of immigration law and procedures (experience with USCIS, EOIR, or NVC processes preferred) but will train the right candidate.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software (e.g., Clio, Docketwise, Zoom, Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, ).
Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
Bilingual (English and Spanish or other languages).
Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team in a fast-paced environment.
Client service-oriented with a professional and compassionate demeanor.
