Position Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join its team in a hybrid role based in their Schaumburg office. This position supports attorneys in advanced aspects of business immigration, including form preparation, document management, and client communications.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the preparation of immigration legal forms, including nonimmigrant and immigrant applications and petitions, for attorney review in a high-volume practice
Assist in troubleshooting case-related issues identified by clients and attorneys
Prepare immigration forms using legal software and draft correspondence using Microsoft Word; distribute finalized materials to clients for signature and processing
Support attorneys in assessing eligibility for immigration benefits by reviewing questionnaires and supporting documentation
Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate document management
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow within the team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any field or a Paralegal Certificate
2–6 years of experience handling employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, PERM, and Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
Flexible, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities concurrently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary range: $57,000 – $71,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
