We are hiring a full-time Legal Assistant. Duties include: client communication, administrative duties in English and Spanish, Immigration Paralegal Support. Immigration law experience is not required but preferred. Must have a working computer and be available to work during business hours 9am to 5pm CT, Monday-Friday. Communication is extremely important and online availability is a necessity. Communication with Firm Management is vital.

Requirements

Must have reliable desktop or laptop with internet connection
Must be able to read, write and speak in grammatically correct English (fluently) and Spanish.
You must be reliable, punctual, have a great attitude.
Knowledgeable in Google and excel.
Empathy and caring for clients is essential to the success of the position.
Must be accountable, responsible and take ownership over their work and the quality of their work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities.
Must be willing to learn new things - or old things in a new way.
Must have a great attitude and be a positive person at all times.
Immigration experience would be amazing!

The Basic Job Duties of the position are as follows:

Client communication via phone, text, and email
Scheduling appointments for clients
Maintaining the team calendar including scheduling appointments and other activities for the team
Communicating case status to clients
Drafting and Proof-Reading general correspondence and court documents
