Position Summary:

We are hiring a Bilingual Legal Assistant to support our USCIS team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow in immigration law, especially if you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of clients and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with USCIS case load:

1. Consular Process Immigration Cases
2. Handle preparation of NVC, Waiver, K-1, and K-2 cases (required!).
3. Meet with clients to review forms, collect info, and provide support in English and Spanish.
4. Draft, organize, and submit immigration forms and legal correspondence.
5. Maintain and update files and client database (CRM).
6. Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and communicate with clients.
7. Provide exceptional customer service and step in to assist front desk or legal clerk team when needed.
8. Be adaptable and open to training across different departments.

Qualifications:

1. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required!).
2. Immigration legal experience (preferred but NOT required)
3. Experience preparing and reviewing immigration forms (preferred but NOT required)
4. Must be tech-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat).
5. Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
6. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
7. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
