Job Title: Immigration Paralegal

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team and provide support to an attorney specializing in immigration law. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a key role in assisting with various immigration matters, ensuring our clients receive efficient and professional legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the attorney with the preparation and filing of immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents.
Conduct legal research related to immigration law and stay updated on changes in immigration policies and regulations.
Draft correspondence, client communications, and legal documents.
Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status.
Prepare forms and applications for visa petitions, green card applications, work permits, and other immigration-related filings.
Coordinate with government agencies and track case progress.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an immigration paralegal, with a focus on business immigration or in a similar legal support role.
Knowledge of U.S. immigration law and procedures, specifically business immigration.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing high-volume caseloads.
Ability to work independently and closely with the attorney.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software.
Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
