Immigration Paralegal

📍 Location: El Segundo, CA

⏰ Schedule: Contract, Part-Time (12–20 hours/week)

💵 Hourly Rate: $32–$42 per hour, based on experience

We are a boutique immigration law firm with a strong focus on employment-based immigration and a select portfolio of family-based matters. We’re looking for an experienced immigration paralegal who can join our El Segundo, CA office and take ownership of complex cases with precision and independence.

🔔 This is an in-person position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Remote candidates will not be considered).

About the Role:

This hands-on role requires full-cycle case management — from setting up the case file to preparing forms, tracking deadlines, and compiling filings for USCIS and consular posts. The right candidate is highly organized, independent, and ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

While the role is fully in-person to start, hybrid flexibility (some remote hours) may be considered once the candidate is fully integrated into our systems and workflows. However, on-site presence will always be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end case management, including:

Opening and organizing case files
Preparing USCIS/consular forms
Calendaring deadlines and expiration dates
Tracking document collection and following up with clients
Compiling exhibits and preparing full application packets for filing

Prepare and file a wide range of immigration cases:

H-1B, TN, L-1, E-2, O-1
EB-1A and EB-2 NIW
Adjustment of Status (employment- and family-based)
I-751 petitions
DS-160 and DS-260 for consular processing
Maintain ongoing client communication
Perform administrative duties (printing, scanning, mailing)

Required Qualifications:

Min 3 years of employment-based immigration experience
Working knowledge of H-1B, TN, L-1, E-2, O-1, EB1A
Proven ability to manage cases independently, from initiation through filing
Familiarity with Neutrinet or similar immigration software
Proficiency in Adobe Pro (or similar) for compiling/editing exhibits
Highly organized, meticulous, and proactive in managing caseloads and deadlines
Professional communication skills with clients and the internal team
U.S. work authorization required

$32–$42/hour, depending on experience
Part-time contract position (12–20 hours/week)
Flexible scheduling during regular business hours
Potential for long-term or full-time role as needs grow
