We are looking for former or current USCIS officers to join our firm. Fay Grafton Nunez, PLLC is an immigration and criminal defense firm with offices in Raleigh and Asheville, NC. We welcome applicants in Raleigh or Asheville but would also consider a fully remote position. Our firm handles all types of immigration filings, but for this immediate need, we will give preference to candidates with experience in T Visa, VAWA, and U Visa adjudication.

Salary offer will depend on level of experience, but we offer a competitive rate with bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications
- Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation for cases
- Prepare and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Enter case information into document management systems and maintain up-to-date records
- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and compliance with immigration regulations
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring all necessary documents are included
- Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence as needed
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls with professional etiquette

Qualifications:

- Previous experience adjudicating USCIS filings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Proficient in data entry and file management
- Familiarity with document management systems is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of immigration law and procedure
