Immigration law office seeking an additional immigration paralegal for immediate hire, either on staff or as an independent contractor. Will consider resumes from US licensed attorneys with immigration experience.

We are a family-based immigration law firm. Many clients have criminal convictions, which raises complex legal issues. Services include administrative processing, appeals and Federal litigation research. No immigration removal defense, but such experience is a plus.

All staff are team players; we want to succeed as a group. A good fit with other staff is important. Favorable attributes include I-601 waiver experience, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work independently, an enterprising attitude, and modesty. Foreign language skills and legal research capability helps. We all work remotely, but being in or near San Diego is a plus.

Work Hours:

Must be available at least 2 hours per day between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PST

Experience:

Immigration case management, including bar waivers: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

Paralegal Certificate (Preferred)

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
